GetReligion.org

Because Terry Mattingley, one of my favorite religion writers posts there, I subscribed to the GetReligion.org blog this week.

It has been an interesting read.  What have I learned?
  • The writer of Basic Instinct is now a Christian
  • The importance of asking the right follow-up question at the Democratic National Convention.
  • The conflict (none?) former porn star Jenna Jamison finds with being a "devout Catholic" and having babies without a husband.
  • Faith at the Democratic National Convention
It has been interesting reading.

What Christians Like

I started reading (yet) another blog.

"What Chrstians Like"
is a tongue-in-cheek look at the Christian culture in America. Sometimes it hits a little close to home... My home that is.

New feature - Click Comments

I added Click Comments to this blog. Why? I don't know. I am surprised when someone tells me "I was reading your blog" or when I get an email to that effect. I have several friends who I know read the blog. I have also found I enjoy the feedback but often, there are people who have had some sort of technical problem leaving a comment.

I have often found that, although I like the feedback and I know others like feedback on what they write, it is sometimes quite brief so this allows you to quickly add a comment, just by clicking, no text necessary!

One year...

Tomorrow (Nov 27) is my first year anniversary of blogging. During that time my friends and family have tolerated my joy, frustration, amazement and just babbling.

A quick note, if you do a quick calculation, I have posted an average of once every 2 1/4 days this year.
